Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Baphuon , the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area, as it has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.Lunch at local restaurant.

Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Day 1 -Phnom Penh – Rattanakiri

Arrive at Rattanakiri Airport ,welcome by local guide and transfer to the Hotel for check-in.

Excursion by car at the waterfall of Kachhanh and Katieng Village,6Km in the northwest of Balung town.
Visit the ethnic minority village , Tumpoun at Katieng Village.

Today excursion will allow you to observe other precious heritage of the Khmer Empire. The tour starts at 8:30 am in the morning heading toward Takeo province along national road number 2.

The tour will stop first at Tonle Bati, which is the home to two 12 century temples Ta Prohm and Prasat Yeay Peo built close to Bati lake by the king Jayavarman 7. Tonle Bati is a beautiful lake is popular among locals for its breezy and tranquil atmosphere, Tonle bati is 42km south of Phnom Penh, takes about 1 hour by car. we have lunch at Tonle Bati floating house before continue our tour to Phnom Chiso, another 20km from Tonle Bati, Phnom Chiso is a hill top with many building from different eras including the temple of Suryagiri from 11 century. Enjoy remedous views over the surround plains. On the way back we visit another famous temple of Prasat Neang Khmau which is not very far from Phnom Chiso. Transfer back to departure point, tour end here.

A great afternoon tour, discovering the rich Khmer Arts, Architecture and Culture. The tour starts at about 2 pm ,we head to Silver Pagoda, which is located within the royal Palace terrain. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor , which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles.

The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small 17 th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha . In addition you will also have a chance to discover the Royal Palace . The Palace is a magnificent example of Khmer architecture , built in 1866 on the site of the old town . We will see the Throne Hall and the charming Napoleon III Pavilion . Then visit Rong Damrei . We continue our tour to the National Museum, a red and elegant looking pavilion , designed it in Khmer style in 1917 by Georges Groslier , which is located outer to the East of the Royal Palace. You will be surprised with the amazing Khmer arts that have been collected from all over the country, which are available on display in this Museum. Lastly, we continue this tour along the beautiful Chacktomouk River side to visit the grand Ounalom monastery.
